Hosting and server log files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser type). Processing is based on the legitimate interest in secure and stable website operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Content delivery network and bot protection (Cloudflare)

This website is delivered via the network of Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare processes technical request data and your IP address in order to deliver, secure and protect the site against automated access. Cloudflare sets the technically necessary cookie “__cf_bm” (bot management, storage period approx. 30 minutes). The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and available operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing in third countries, in particular the USA, is possible and takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement and the EU standard contractual clauses.

Reach measurement of the hosting platform

The hosting platform may carry out an anonymous, aggregated reach measurement. Page views are counted together with browser and device type, language, country, referrer and requested address, using a short-lived session identifier (“session-id”, approx. 30 minutes). There is no cross-site tracking, no advertising use and no profiling. This measurement is disabled by default and is only activated after your explicit consent (“Statistics” category in the cookie notice); you can withdraw it at any time.

Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your data solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). This website does not contain a contact form.

Cookies, local storage and consent

On your first visit, the website shows a cookie notice with which you can freely give or refuse your consent. Refusing is just as easy as accepting. Technically necessary cookies (Cloudflare bot-protection cookie “__cf_bm”, the hosting platform's short-lived session identifier) are used without consent because they are required for secure operation.

Optional services are only used with your consent: your language selection (DE/EN) is stored locally in your browser so it persists across visits, and the hosting platform's anonymous reach measurement (see above) is activated on request. Your language selection is never transmitted to us. Both consents are voluntary; the website works fully without them.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future — via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or directly here:

When you withdraw the preference consent, your stored language selection is deleted from your browser; the language choice then applies only to the current session.

Fonts and external content

All fonts are served from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts, Fontshare or other font providers. No further external services (maps, videos, social plugins) are embedded.

Storage period

We store personal data only as long as required for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations exist.
